Site owner
This website is operated by General Kargo Uluslararası Taşımacılık Ltd. Şti., trading as General Cargo, a company founded in 1998 and based in Istanbul, Türkiye. It is part of the General Logistic Group.
What this site collects
Nothing. These pages are static files. They set no cookies, run no analytics or tracking scripts, embed no third-party content, and contain no forms. The typefaces are served from this site's own server, not from an external font provider — so opening a page sends no request to any other company.
Your browser's request reaches our web server, which records the usual technical entries needed to deliver a page and keep the server secure. Those entries are not used to build a profile and are not passed on.
When you contact us
If you call or email us using the details on this site, we process what you send in order to answer you and, where it leads to a shipment, to carry out the contract. We keep it for as long as the business relationship and the applicable commercial and tax retention periods require, and we do not use it for anything else.
Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and, for visitors in the European Union, the GDPR, you may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, and object to its processing. Write to us and we will handle the request.
About the figures on this site
Transit times and shipment counts are calculated from records in our own operating system, with the date they were taken shown next to them (currently 4 July 2026). They are aggregate values: no customer name and no individual consignment is published anywhere on this site.
Figures that come from elsewhere — trade statistics, corridor reports, customs rules — are marked as such and listed with their source on the page that uses them. Guidance on customs procedures is general information and does not replace binding advice for a specific shipment.
